COMPETENCIAS

 

  • COM1: Ability to address and solve advanced mathematical engineering problems, from the statement of the problem to the development of the formulation and the implementation in a computer program. In particular, the ability to formulate, plan and implement advanced analytical and numerical models, project planning and management and the ability to explain the results, in the context of mining engineering.

 

  • COM2: Adequate knowledge of scientific and technological aspects of fluid mechanics, continuum mechanics, calculus of structures, geotechnics, carbochemistry and petrochemicals.

 

  • COM3: Adequate knowledge of project evaluation and risk analysis, Leadership, organization and maintenance, economics and business management, quality, environment legislation, knowledge management.

 

  • COM4: Adequate knowledge of modeling, assessment and management of geological resources, including groundwater, mineral and thermal.

 

  • COM5: Adequate knowledge of mineral resources technology.

 

  • COM6: Ability to plan and manage energy resources, including generation, transmission, distribution and use.

 

  • COM7: Capacity to make studies of land management and underground spaces, including the construction of tunnels and other underground infrastructure.

 

  • COM8: Ability to design and implement transportation facilities, distribution and storage of solids, liquids and gases.

 

  • COM9: Ability to design and implement water treatment and waste management (urban, industrial or dangerous).

 

  • COM10: Ability to assess and manage projects, plants or facilities environmentally

 

  • COM11: Knowledge of control systems and automatisms.

 

  • COM12: Ability to design, manage and run the production, transportation, storage, handling and use of explosives and pyrotechnics.

 

  • COM13: Ability to plan, design and manage treatment mineral resources facilities, metallurgical plants, steelwork and construction materials industries, including metals, ceramics, sintered refractory and others.
